Assam Jatiyatabadi Yuva Chhatra Parishad staged protests against SEBA in Nalbari

NALBARI: The Nalbari District unit of Assam Jatiyatabadi Yuva Chhatra Parishad (AJYCP) staged protest at Nalbari town on Tuesday. The district committee president Nirod Das and general secretary Jogesh Kalita burnt the effigy of Education Minister Ranoj Pegu and SEBA chief Ramesh Chandra Jain in the presence of the office bearers of the union. The protesters chanted various slogans. The union demanded the resignation of SEBA chairman Ramesh Chandra Jain and Education Minister Ranoj Pegu. Nalbari District Committee Advisors Brajen Chowdhury, Asik Ahmed, Joint Secretary Pranjal Kalita, Finance Secretary Manjit Barman and office bearers of various regional committees were also present in the protest programme. They also called for a CBI investigation into the leakage of question papers.
