Assam: Khel Maharan inaugurated at Balipara

KALAIGAON: Like other parts of the State, the inaugural session of Khel Maharan was held at Balipara under Kalaigaon Revenue Circle on Saturday. The fortnight long sports event of Balipara VCD under Kalaigaon Development Block has been organized at the playground of Balipara High School. The inaugural session began with hoisting of ribbon cutting by Pranjieet Dutt, BDO of Kalaigaon Development Block. Arun Sarma, chairman of Balipara VCDC level Khel Maharan committee welcomed the participants of Khel Maharan and he was accompanied with Nodal officer Babul Rabha. All the proceedings of the inaugural session were conducted by Amrit Das, member secretary of the Khel Maharan committee. The event was attended by Minu Basumatary, chairman of Balipara VCDC along with registered players, teachers and other dignitaries.
