BARPETA: A leopard which had created terror for the past four days in the Sonafuli and Rupafuli areas near Manas National Park, was finally last caged on Wednesday night by the forest officials of Manas National Park.

The leopard, about 10-12 years of age, had created terror among the villagers and they also claimed that the leopard had 3-4 cubs. But Babul Brahma, forest officer of Saalbari said that there was no proof about the presence of the cubs.

Babul Brahma and assistant forest officer Ranjan Daimary caged the leopard along with their team. It was later released at Manas National Park on Thursday.
