Assam: Maa Mahamaya temple rebuilt in Dhubri district

A century old Maa Mahamaya temple in the heart of Bilasipara town of Dhubri district was rebuilt and the idol of Goddess would be installed with performing of all rituals amid colourful programmes from February 3 to February 14.

DHUBRI: A century old Maa Mahamaya temple in the heart of Bilasipara town of Dhubri district was rebuilt and the idol of Goddess would be installed with performing of all rituals amid colourful programmes from February 3 to February 14. The reception committee of the temple management association in a letter informed that on February 3 to February 9, Bhagavat Geeta would be read.

On February 11, Mandap Puja would be performed and from February 12 to February 14, various other rituals would be performed including adhibas, nagar parikrama, pran prathistha, purnahiti and distribution of prasad. The doors of the temple would be opened thereafter for devotees, letter further informed.
