GUWAHATI: On Thursday night, a guy from Assam was unexplainably discovered dead in Meghalaya.  The deceased man, Mintu Bora, is said to have been from the Kohuatoli neighbourhood in Batadrava, which is part of the Nagaon district.

In order to start a new job at a cement company, Mintu travelled to Meghalaya three days ago with his brother-in-law. At his company-allocated quarters in Meghalaya, his lifeless body was discovered last night.

His cause of death has not yet been determined. The murder, according to Mintu's relatives, was carried out by the brother-in-law. The incident has been reported to the police. Further information is awaited.

Due to the recent spate of reported missing person instances, finding a good job outside of Assam has become a nightmare.

A startling event involving two Assamese citizens from Tinsukia who vanished after travelling to Kerela in pursuit of a decent job opportunity has also come to light. The two individuals, Juna Aao (39) and Sonu Tanti (40), were Gakherbheti village inhabitants.

According to the specifics of the occurrence, on March 18, both the people boarded a train headed for Kerala. But as soon as the train arrived in Tamil Nadu, Juna Aao reportedly passed out. Sonu Tanti called Juna Aao's family and informed them of his situation after researching his health. A few hours later, Sonu alleged that Juna Aao had lost his sense of equilibrium and was acting irrationally.

Around this time, Juna left the train at an unidentified station in Tamil Nadu before they arrived at their destination, and vanished.

"Sonu was still riding the same train when he spoke to his family and reported that a group of unknown, Tamil-speaking individuals had approached him and were beating him with rods and sticks. Then Sonu's phone went dead," a family member of Sonu Tanti told the media.

As a picture of Sonu Tanti's dismembered body was shared with family members via an unknown number on WhatsApp on Friday night, things started to get worse.

“We were phoned by a person who spoke to us in Tamil after receiving a photo of Sonu's dismembered body from an unknown number. We couldn't make out what he was trying to say. Others in our village have seen the same picture.”the relative said.
