GUWAHATI: Another terrible incident occurred on Sunday night in Guwahati city when a group of miscreants stabbed a man with a knife, critically injuring him.

The event was reported in Guwahati's Rehabari neighborhood.

The Paltan Bazar police carried the injured guy, who was in critical condition, right away to Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH). The police have not yet disclosed the injured person's identification.

The mother of the child reportedly managed to escape with a serious gash to her hand after the accused attempted to kill her over a land dispute. The youngster was standing behind his mother.

According to the official, the attacker grabbed him and stabbed him from behind. A video of the stabbing leaked on social media, and police promptly detained the suspects.
