Assam: MBBS Doctor Including 9 Health Workers Suspended in Dima Hasao

GUWAHATI: The Joint Director of Health Services of Assam's Dima Hasao district has suspended nine health care workers of the Khepre Primary Health Centre (PHC) including a MBBS doctor in Haflong.

The suspended persons include one MBBS doctor, two pharmacist, four nurses and two grade IV workers of the health centre.

The notification states, "Whereas, it is observed that the Khepre PHC is not run regularly and you are not performing your duties, being the responsibilities upon you, hence, you are hereby placed under suspension till the departmental enquiry is completed."

"This is as per discussions and approval of the Hon'ble Executive Member, o/c, Health & OW Department, N.C.Hills Autonornous Council, Haflong and Hon'ble Chief Executive Member, N.C.Hills Autonomous Council, Haflong," it further reads.
