Assam Medical College and Hospital security guards felicitated

DIBRUGARH: Dibrugarh police felicitated two security guards of Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) on Monday for showing courage to nab notorious bike thief Bikash Kurmi. Bikash Kurmi tried to flee from AMCH during his treatment on Saturday but the two security guards of AMCH held him and handed over him to the police.

Dibrugarh SP Shwetank Mishra on Monday felicitated the two security guards Sunil Balmiki and Diganta Das. They were given Rs 50,000 for helping police to nab the notorious bike thief. "We are proud of the two AMCH security guards for showing courage to nab the bike thief. Last month, the notorious bike thief was injured in police firing and was under treatment at AMCH.
