Assam; Mushroom cultivation training inaugurated in Tamulpur

Under the direction of Deepak Singh, Commandant of 24th Bn Sashastra Seema Bal Rangia, a 15-day training on mushroom cultivation has been inaugurated at “Career Info” training centre located in border areas of Tamulpur under “Civic Action Programme (NE)”.

RANGIA: Under the direction of Deepak Singh, Commandant of 24th Bn Sashastra Seema Bal Rangia, a 15-day training on mushroom cultivation has been inaugurated at “Career Info” training centre located in border areas of Tamulpur under “Civic Action Programme (NE)”. The students/youths of the border areas will be given training about mushroom cultivation, stated a press release.

In addition, a closing ceremony of 30 days of computer course conducted by 24 Bn SSB at the “Career Info” training centre has also been concluded by the chief guest Sh. Jasbir Singh, Second-in-Command, 24th Bn SSB, Rangia (Assam).

In computer training, 64 youths of the border areas participated out of which, 4 students who performed best have been rewarded by the chief guest Sh. Jasbir Singh, Second in Command, 24th SSB, Rangia, Assam and all the students were given a certificate on behalf of Commandant 24th SSB, Rangia, Assam and encouraged all the students by awarding them appreciation letter. While addressing the students/youths who came for mushroom cultivation training, Sh. Singh informed them that they can learn about the benefits of mushroom farming by this training for their livelihood.

He said that mushroom farming is currently being done on large scale and is very beneficial. If, it is sowed at the right time according to the season, it gives good yield in large quantity and at present there is a lot of demand in the market of the same. Hence it will prove to be very beneficial for the farmers financially. From time to time, 24th Bn SSB Rangia has been organizing training for the border youths for this type of profitable farming so that they can do their farming in advanced ways.

Sh. Jasbir Singh Second–in-Command, highlighted in his address that 24th Bn SSB is making every possible effort to help the citizens/students of border areas under the AoR of 24 Bn SSB.
