Assam: NITI Aayog team visits Pub Mangaldai Development Block in Darrang district

MANGALDAI: A team of officials of the NITI Aayog headed by Dr Priscilla C. Ngaihte and Prachi Sarma visited Pub Mangaldai Development Block in the Darrang district to assess and deliberate on the way to prepare the plan for the Aspirational Block Programme.

District Commissioner Munindra Nath Ngatey accorded the welcome speech while District Development Commissioner Pankaj Deka offered the deliberation in presence of the CEO, Darrang Zila Parishad, Manas Das and Additional District Commissioner Gopal Sarma. Officials from the State Panchayat & Rural Development headed by joint secretary Ranjit Swargiary were also present, besides the officials from various line departments of the Darrang district along with Anganawadi workers, ASHA, SHG members and PRI members.

A healthy interaction transpired among all participants to discuss the manner of planning in the field of Health, Education, Agriculture, and basic infrastructure.
