Assam: No information about 2 youths missing since 2021

NAGAON: The families of two youths - Kamal Das (28) and Amarjyoti Das (19) of Dakshin Changchaki village under Kampur police station -who went missing from their workplace ‘Radial Gate Plant 3’ of Om Metal Infra Project Limited near Joshimath during the flash flood in Uttarakhand on February 7, 2021, are yet to receive any information about the missing youths from the Uttarakhand government as well as from the authority concerned of the company till date.

Phulmoti Dalu Das, wife of Kamal Das, and family members of Amarjyoti Das have repeatedly appealed to the Uttarakhand government as well as the company head through Nagaon district administration to give information about the two youths. But unfortunately, the Uttarakhand government and the company authority have paid no heed to their appeals, for which both the families are living in anxiety and uncertainty. Phulmoti Dalu Das on Wednesday approached to the district information and public relations officer, Nagaon and urged the official to convey the worries of the both families to the State Government so that the government takes steps to get the exact information about the two missing youths, or to ensure if they are dead.
