Assam: One injured in road accident near Thowra Doul

DEMOW: A road accident took place near Thowra Doul on the NH-37 on Sunday afternoon, where a person was seriously injured. According to sources, a Duster Car (AS 01 BG 1437), which was travelling on NH-37 near Thowra Doul, hit a bicycle from behind. The bicycle rider sustained serious injuries.

The injured person has been identified as Bisne Giri (70), who hails from Bokulduba Gaon near Demow. The local people sent the injured person to Demow Model Hospital, and after providing primary treatment, the injured person was referred to Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) in Dibrugarh for better treatment.
