Assam: Orientation programme on ‘School Safety and Security’

RUKSIN: The Ruksin Block Education Department in collaboration with DDSE establishment, conducted a one-day orientation programme-cum-mock drill on “School Safety and Security”. Aiming to make school a safe place where children can learn and grow, hundreds of PRTs & TGTs under Ruksin Block (Bilat Circle, Sille-Oyan Circle & Ruksin Circle) from different schools took part in the programme.

Ruksin ADC Tajing Jonnom attended the programme as chief guest while BEO T. Tapak graced as guest of honour and delivered lecture and encouraged the participants sharing word of advices. In-charge DDSE O. Siram was also present on the occasion. Taking the privilege on the occasion, ADC Jonnom appealed to the higher authority of education department to make aware their students on ill effects of drugs on regular basis adding that addicted students are completely ignorant about the ill effects of drugs and accept the drugs for enjoyment.

The teaching community should spare at least one hour every day for counseling their students showing right path towards career building to be worthy citizens of the nation, opined Jonnom.
