DUDHNOI: Assam Police's anti-drug operation is going on. Dudhnai police arrested two ganja suppliers. Pankaj Nath (33) was arrested with one kg ganja after conducting a raid in Rangagara village of Dudhnoi on Wednesday evening under the leadership of Mukut Kakati, police officer in-charge of Dudhnoi police station. The police then arrested Atowar Islam From Krishnai Nayapara on the basis of information given by Pankaj Nath. Police managed to seize 2 kg ganja from the spot in the search operation.

Dudhnoi police have registered a case against the duo and are continuing the investigation. Goalpara district AAMSU president Animul Haque Chaudhury thanked Dudhnoi Police for the crackdown on drug suppliers in the last two days. He said that drugs, liquor and narcotics were destroying the new generation. Goalpara District AAMSU demanded the district administration to investigate in the entire area of Goalpara district and to stop drugs trade and consumption.
