Assam: Police Officer Brutally Beats Up Minor Over Biscuits Theft Allegation

Guwahati: A police official mercilessly thrashed a minor boy for allegedly stealing biscuits in Assam's Laharighat on Monday.

A video of the same has gone viral, where it can be seen that the police officer is mercilessly beating the boy with a stick stealing biscuits.

As per the reports, the boy is believed to be between 13-14 years.

In the video, the boy can be heard screaming and pleading with the official not to hit him. However, the official didn't stop and kept hitting the minor for a long time.

Reportedly, the boy was caught while stealing biscuits from a vehicle parked inside the police station.

After this, he was taken inside the police station and beaten up.
