Assam Police SI Exam Paper Goes Viral On Social Media Platforms

Guwahati: The Assam Police SI exam question paper reportedly went viral on Sunday after a few images of it appeared on WhatsApp.

The Assam Police SI exam was scheduled to be conducted on April 24, 2022, and the exam timings were from 10 AM to 12 PM and 2 PM to 4 PM.

According to reports, so far, the departments concerned have been quiet on the same, but people on social media have asked the Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam Police Chief Bhaskarjyoti Mahanta to initiate an impartial investigation into the matter.

Prior to this incident, in 2020, the question paper for the written examination for 597 posts of Sun-Inspector of state police was too leaked, following which the authorities had cancelled the exam.

Around, 66,000 candidates had appeared for the written tests in 154 centres spread over all the districts in Assam.
