Assam: Reception committee formed in Biswanath district

JAMUGURIHAT: In a public meeting convened by the Sootea chapter of Senior Citizens Forum under Biswanath district held at Natya Bhawan, Sootea with Trinayan Bora, president of the Sootea chapter of Senior Citizens Forum on Friday, a reception committee was constituted to organize biennial conference of Biswanath district Senior Citizens Forum. Thanuram Sarma, secretary, Kamal Chandra Bhuyan, finance secretary, Arun Sahu, executive member of the district committee attended the meeting. After detailed discussion, a reception committee to organize the upcoming biennial conference was constituted with Trinayan Bora as president, Dilip Borkataky, working president, Nandeswar Saikia, secretary, Ananda Handique and Deba Bora as vice presidents and Dolan Gogoi and Jiban Sarma as assistant secretaries.
