KOKRAJHAR: A review meeting on the flagship programmes taken up by the government of BTC was held at Bodofa Cultural Complex, Kokrajhar on Tuesday where the Chief Executive Member (CEM) Pramod Boro took the detailed progress of all flagship programmes. All the MCLAs of BTC attended the update and review meeting of BTC government’s flagship programmes. The status of 30 flagship programmes of the BTC Government was presented and minutely reviewed by one and all present.

Speaking at the meeting, the CEM of BTC Pramod Boro said the BTC Government was undoing the deficiencies left behind by the previous government led by former Chief Hagrama Mohilary. “We are now building on our strength and working concertedly to achieve our vision- “Peaceful, Smart and Green Bodoland”. He exhorted all present to draw inspiration from the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and his vision of ensuring good governance in India by creating strong teamwork. He called upon all for use of creativity and innovations in execution of all schemes and projects in BTC too.

UPPL-BJP-GSP coalition government headed by Boro has been carrying out a plethora of social, economic and infrastructural advancement initiatives to foster peace, stability and development in the region. The flagship programmes covered a wide-range of sectors. The collective goal is to improve the quality of life and wellbeing of the people of BTC.
