Assam Rifles Battalion under aegis of HQ Inspector General organizes career counselling programme

JAMUGURIHAT: Assam Rifles Battalion under the aegis of HQ Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organized a ‘Career Counselling Program’ for students of Classes XI and XII at Chariduar Higher Secondary School, Chariduar, Sonitpur on Thursday.

The aim of the event was to assist children in making informed and appropriate decision about their future educational path. It also involved providing guidance, support and information to help children explore their interests, strength, and aspirations and align them with suitable career options. At the end of the event, students were provided necessary guidance for selection of National Defence Academy entrance examination and other defence entry examinations in which info on eligibility, preparation methods, exam requirements and schedule was imparted.

The event was attended by 305 students and seven teachers with full zeal and enthusiasm.
