Assam Rifles celebrates Raksha Bandhan with local women of Lokra village

JAMUGURIHAT: Assam Rifles under the HQ Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) celebrated Raksha Bandhan with local women of Lokra village on Wednesday.

Local women tied sacred threads (rakhi) to the personnel of the unit to strengthen the bond between brothers and sisters and also to spread the message of peace and brotherhood in society. A total of 50 local women and 70 personnel from Assam Rifles participated in the event.
