Assam Rifles organizes lecture on child abuse in Sonitpur district
JAMUGURIHAT: The Assam Rifles Battalion under the aegis of HQ Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organized an awareness lecture on child abuse at Dighali village under the Sonitpur district on Friday.
Assam Rifles organized an informative and essential lecture on child abuse, aimed at raising awareness and educating the community on the pressing issue of child abuse. The lecture covered a range of topics, including the impact of child abuse on individuals and communities, strategies and available laws to counter these social disparities in our society.
This lecture was an opportunity for villagers of all ages to come together, learn, and take meaningful steps towards creating a safer and healthier environment in the society. At the end of the event, villagers were advised to build a mischief-free society and distance themselves from child abuse. A total of 129 villagers attended the event with full zeal and enthusiasm.
