Assam: Rupsi Airport Extends Regular Flight Services All Days Except Monday

Rupsi: In a major boost to Regional Connectivity Scheme, Rupsi Airport in Assam has extended regular flight services to Kolkata and Guwahati all days of the week except Monday.

This air service has started from today, 18 February 2022 wherein flights from Rupsi Airport directly connects to Kolkata and Guwahati by Fly Big airlines. There is no change in flight's timing.

" We are happy to announce that Rupsi Airport will now be operating flights every day except Monday, It was among the major demands of the passengers travelling through this airport, " said Hemang Arora, Airport In-charge, Rupsi Airport.

We continue to provide better amenities to our passengers and stakeholders at Rupsi, which has provided much-needed flight services under Govt's flagship programme UDAN to people of this area, he added.

Rupsi Airport has been re-developed under Regional Connectivity Scheme RCS - UDAN and was opened for the public on 08 May 2021.

Till Jan 2022, over 31.1K passengers have travelled through Rupsi Airport and it has recorded 578 schedule flight movements during this period.
