Assam: Sanction letters distributed in Mangaldai

Reflecting the transparency in letter and spirit in sanction and distribution of funds under MPLAD and Untied Fund, the Member of Parliament of Mangaldai HPC Dilip Saikia on Friday handed over the sanction letters amounting to a total amount of Rs 6.35 crores against a total of 303 institutions, clubs and other social public organizations.

MANGALDAI: Reflecting the transparency in letter and spirit in sanction and distribution of funds under MPLAD and Untied Fund, the Member of Parliament of Mangaldai HPC Dilip Saikia on Friday handed over the sanction letters amounting to a total amount of Rs 6.35 crores against a total of 303 institutions, clubs and other social public organizations. In the jam-packed meeting hall at his residence here at Bhebarghat, Parliamentarian Saikia today handed over the sanction letters to 178 organizations under Kalaigaon, Mangaldai, Sipajhar and Dalgaon LAC in Darrang district. Of these schemes, 16 schemes of Sipajhar LAC were issued sanction letter for Rs 44.5 lakhs while Rs. 92 lakhs for 32 schemes in Mangaldai LAC, Rs 72 lakhs for 29 schemes in Kalaigaon LAC and Rs. 30.5 lakhs for 12 schemes in Dalgaon LAC.

On December 2, Parliamentarian Saikia will hand over the sanction letters of Rs. 57.5 lakhs for 20 schemes in Udalguri LAC, Rs. 58 lakhs for 21 schemes in Mazbat LAC and Rs 64 lakhs for 19 schemes in Panery LAC in a function at Udalguri. On the day same day on Saturday, he will hand over the sanction letters of Rs. 25.5 lakhs for 10 schemes of Nalbari LAC, Rs. 81 lakhs for 27 schemes in Rangiya LAC, Rs. 65 lakhs for 23 schemes in Kamalpur LAC and Rs. 25 lakhs for five schemes in Tamulpur LAC at a function in Kamalpur. Addressing the function at Mangaldai on Friday, Parliamentarian Saikia appealed the office bearers of the fund recipient organization and institutions for speedy execution of the schemes utilizing the last penny for the purpose.
