Guwahati: Schools in Assam have gave performed tremendously in the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) class 10 board exams 2022 that were declared on Sunday evening.
As per a report by TOI, the students from the Assam Valley School in Tezpur cleared the exam very brilliantly with the average score standing at 89.52%. 104 students had appeared in the exam while a student named Isha Sovasaria stood as the topper securing 99.20% marks, from the Assam Valley school.
Sovasaria secured 100 marks in Geography, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Applications.
Speaking on the same, the headmaster of the Assam Valley school asserted that all the school staff was very delighted with the results shown by their students. Also, the hard work of the faculty members has given much impetus to the students.
The student, Isha also expressed her satisfaction with the results that she secured and thanked her parents, teachers as well as her friends.
''I will be studying Science in her 10+2 in ISC taking the course Computer Science as her core course,'' she added.
Another school from Guwahati, 'Sanskriti, The Gurukul', has shown a result of 92.15% average. From the school, 55 students appeared and 17 students had scored 95% and above, while between the range of 90- 94.8% aggregate scores there were 23 students.
