Assam State Power Workers Union demands annual salary hike

Bongaigaon: Assam State Power Workers' Union (ASPWU) protested against the decision of APDCL not to increase salary of APDCL staff. Amit Kar, secretary of the union, said that the electrical staff had dedicatedly worked even during the time of lockdown. "But now they have been denied annual salary hike. We demand that the decision must be withdrawn immediately. Otherwise, we will adopt the path of agitation," he said.
