Jorhat: ONGC Jorhat, in association with KV ONGC Jorhat students, staged street plays at various prominent locations in the city.

The aim of the event was to create awareness against the use of single-use plastic. The event was a part of Swachhta Pakhwada 2022 organized by ONGC A&AA Basin and Jorhat Asset. This is an ongoing event which began on July 1 and will conclude on July 15. Some of the events already conducted as part of Swachhta Pakhwada are walkathon, old-age home visits, cleanliness drives, indoor plantation workshops etc.

A total 15 students of Kendriya Vidyalya - ONGC Jorhat from classes VIII to XII performed street plays at Cinnamara Tinali, Baruah Chariali and Marwari Patty. While performing the play at Baruah Chariali, the students were motivated by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Jorhat, D Barman. Speaking to the media after the event, ADC D Barman said that he was very happy to see the enthusiasm shown by the students.
