Assam: Swasthya Sewa Utsav to be held in Tinsukia district

TINSUKIA: Tinsukia district is gearing up for Swasthya Sewa Utsav, 2nd phase, which is scheduled to be held from November 20 to November 22 after successful implementation of Swasthya Sewa Utsav, phase 1, that was held on April 2023. In Tinsukia district, a total of 34 health facilities will be assessed jointly by the doctors deputed from Jorhat Medical College & Hospital, 24 ACS/ALRS/Block development Officers and 10 senior officials from other line departments. In addition, 11 senior administrative officers are being deputed for Tinsukia district as External Evaluator from Guwahati.

Swasthya Sewa Utsav is proposed to carry out assessment of all the Public Health Institutions excluding Medical Colleges and Sub Centres/HWCs. The assessment will be carried out in a phase wise manner.
