Assam Tea Tribes Students Association Demow Branch submits memorandum

DEMOW: Biswanath Nag, Secretary of the Assam Tea Tribes Students Association (ATTSA) Demow Branch, stated that a bonus is given to the labourers working in the tea estates every year. Biswanath Nag, Secretary of ATTSA, Demow Branch, informed that every year a 20 per cent bonus is given to the labourers of the tea states. This year also, they have demanded a 20 per cent bonus for the tea labourers before Durga Puja.

The ATTSA, Sub-Branch Committees under ATTSA, Demow Branch had submitted a memorandum to the Managers of the tea estates, namely Athabari, Rajmai, Khongia, Krishna Bihari, Thowra, Maskara, Gohainbari, Rajabari, and Mohkhuti.
