Assam: Teachers awarded in Golaghat on occasion of Teachers’ Day

GOLAGHAT: Golaghat district administration, in collaboration with the Education Department of Golaghat district and various teachers’ organizations, celebrated the 62nd Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm and respect at the conference hall of the Office of the Inspector of Schools, Golaghat on Tuesday.

During this occasion, the prestigious District Teachers’ awards were conferred on 10 outstanding teachers from different schools within Golaghat district. Also, certificates were distributed among different competition-winning teachers. Further, following the direction of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, 21 retired and working teachers were also felicitated by officials of the district administration and the Education Department.

The event was graced by ADC (Education) Dinchengfa Boruah, Inspector of Schools, Golaghat, Dr Samiron Bora, and several other dignitaries.
