GUWAHATI: On Tuesday, it is anticipated that the Assam health department would announce the results of the recruitment of up to 1,616 new Grade IV applicants.

Today is the day that the results of the examinations to fill up to 1,616 openings in Grade IV of the health department will be made public.

The health department's official website will host the results for applicants who took the exam, according to the information that has been obtained.

Himanta Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam, urged youths to take advantage of open positions in the state and federal governments while asserting that the state's push to hire more and more people in government agencies showed the removal of corruption in the hiring process.

"The journey towards achieving one lakh appointments continues as the Health Department is set to announce the results for 1616 Grade IV vacancies on 16th May, 2023. Appointment letters will be distributed on May 26, 2023, at Khanapara Field, Guwahati." Himanta Biswa Sarma tweets.

On May 26, at Khanapara, the shortlisted candidates will receive their appointment letters.

The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam, released the final results for 4,380 teaching posts in Lower Primary and Middle English schools at midnight on May 9. The results were made public on DEE's official website (https://dee.assam.gov.in/).

Out of the 4380 teaching positions, 3,887 are for assistant teachers in Lower Primary schools, and 1,443 are for assistant teachers and science teachers in Middle English schools.

On the DEE's official website, the results for teaching posts were announced by the district.

It was previously claimed that on May 11 in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, all new hires would receive their appointments.

Shah's tour, which was originally scheduled to mark the alliance government led by Himanta Biswa Sarma's second term in power on May 11, had to be postponed to May 26 due to the political and social climate in Manipur at the time.

Following this, the newly hired candidates would now receive their employment letters on May 26 rather than May 11, as announced by the Assam chief minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, at a news conference held here in Guwahati.

However, there have been no modifications made to the candidates' joining dates, which are June 1, 2023.
