Assam: Theft at multi-speciality hospital; 1 nabbed in Demow

DEMOW: A theft took place in the Siu-Ka-Pha Multi-Speciality Hospital situated in Rajabari near Demow of the Sivasagar district on Tuesday early morning.

According to sources, the thieves stole construction work materials from the hospital. While they were allegedly trying to take all the things in a Tata Magic vehicle (AS 04 AC 3166), they were caught red-handed by the security guard of the hospital. Among the four thieves, three managed to escape while the driver was caught and the vehicle was seized. The stolen construction materials were recovered from the vehicle. Demow Police was informed. The driver and vehicle were handed over to the police.
