Assam: Thief nabbed in Demow by local people

DEMOW: A thief was caught by people while trying to steal in a teacher’s residence in broad daylight in Gudhabil near Demow on Thursday. According to sources, the thief named Hemanta Japihajia came to steal in the the residence of Rameswar Sahu, a teacher, on Thursday when no one was present in the house. The people caught him and punished him. A few days ago, Hemanta Japihajia had looted cash, gold ornaments, gas stove and cylinder from Sahu’s residence. He was taken to Nitaipukhuri Police Station after this but after getting released, he again to came to loot the same house again.
