Assam: Truck falls into drain in Demow

A truck fell into a drain near the NH-37 Road in Thowra Doul near Demow on Wednesday night. According to sources, the truck (AS 01 BC 4986) was laden with wood and was coming from Tinsukia and heading towards Jorhat.

DEMOW: A truck fell into a drain near the NH-37 Road in Thowra Doul near Demow on Wednesday night. According to sources, the truck (AS 01 BC 4986) was laden with wood and was coming from Tinsukia and heading towards Jorhat. It is suspected that due to overloading, the truck fell into the drain.

Demow Police reached the incident area and brought the truck to Demow Police Station on Thursday morning.
