CHARAIDEO: On December 9, two teenagers from the Charaideo area of Assam were discovered dead in two different states.

Notably, the Charaideo district of Assam experienced sensation following the recovery of the bodies.

According to a police source, Loknath Gogoi's body was discovered in the Gaya area of Bihar, while Nabin Sakia's body was found in Odisha.

The deceased was travelling to Andhra and Chennai for work, according to the police, and the entire scenario reeks of foul play.

Additionally, A young man from Golakganj, Assam, was discovered dead in the Chatrapur region of Odisha earlier in November.

The young man, known as Govind Modak, was a truck driver by trade and was killed by burning in the Chatrapur region of Odisha.

According to the police inquiry, Modak was a driver for Balaji Logistics of Hooghly and was travelling from Hyderabad to Howrah in West Bengal when the event occurred.

Anant Bhowmik, Govind's truck's handyman, who also works for Balaji Logistics, told the company's boss that Govind was gone and had not been seen, which is how the incident came to light.

Bhowmik added that Govind had requested him to meet him at Howrah after getting off the bus midway between Hyderabad and that city.

He told the office manager, "But even after 6 days of reaching Howrah, Govind did not reach Howrah."

Recently in another incident, A 33-year-old man was murdered in the Manikandam area of Tamil Nadu's Tiruchirappalli district, and four migrant workers from Assam have been suspected of being involved.

The man, identified as K Chakravarthy of Vandayar Street in Thuvakudi Malai South in Thiruverumbur, was found dead on Saturday at a sawmill in Trichy's Manikandam neighbourhood. His body was found tied to a tree.

The Manikandam police reportedly launched an investigation into the matter and apprehended four sawmill workers from Assam, A Faizal Haque, 36, A Rashidul Rahman, 22, M Soshidul Sheik, 22, and Y Musiful Haque, 28.
