Recently, a lady from Assam, 34, was allegedly sexually assaulted by a "friend" in a car at Hero Honda Chowk on March 30. The woman, an employee of a private company, claimed that she had been speaking on the phone with Sandeep, the accused, over the course of the previous few days.
Sandeep, 40, offered to pick her up from Hero Honda Chowk as she was leaving her Sector 37 office, according to the police. As per the woman's complaint to police, "I sat in his car, and after talking for a while, he raped me in the car and also threatened to murder me."
