Assam: Woman identified as Rubi Devi, resident of Jamugurihat goes missing

JAMUGURIHAT: One Rubi Devi (26), wife of Dadul Nath, a resident of Madhupur village of the Jaysiddhi area in the northern part of Jamugurihat and mother of two children, went missing on September 8.

According to information, Rubi Devi had gone to the Itakhola branch of Gramin Bank on September 8 leaving her two sons aged 6 and 9 years at home. But she did not return home, said family sources. Rubi’s husband, who used to live in Jammu & Kashmir, has not had any contact with his family members for the last three years. Rubi’s family has lodged an FIR at Itakhola Outpost regarding her disappearance.
