GUWAHATI: In a rather unusual development, several people working at the set of a film were injured after a tree uprooted and fall on them. The incident took place on the morning of Thursday in North Guwahati.
Local reports mentioned that the people were working on the set when a massive tree located nearby uprooted suddenly and fell on the people. They were preparing the set for an upcoming project according to the reports. A total of four people were injured in the incident according to reports. Out of them, two received only superficial injuries, while the other two were critically injured in the incident.
Identified as Pramod Das and Mridul Das, both the critically injured people were shifted to a private medical facility located nearby for immediate medical care.
