Assam: Workshop on mental health organized in Tinsukia College

TINSUKIA: A workshop on physical and mental health was held at Tinsukia College with the joint collaboration of the college’s IQAC and Ellora Vigyan Manch on Saturday, aiming to create awareness on various health issues and their remedies, particularly among girl students. Three eminent physicians of Assam Medical College, namely Dr. Reena Ahmed, retired head of the Department of Gynaecology, Dr. Hem Chandra Kalita of the Cardiology Department, and Dr. Dhrubajyoti Bhuyan, head of the Department of Psychiatry, deliberated on their respective fields. They also interacted with the students and responded to their queries. The programme was chaired by Dr. Surjya Chutia, principal of Tinsukia College.
