Assam: Writer Dharmeshwar Chetia Passes Away
MARGHERITA: Noted writer Dharmeshwar Chetiya passed away on Wednesday. He was the former secretary of the Margherita Unit of the Asom Sahitya Sabha. He was also the founder secretary of the Makum Pathar M E School. The resident of the Number 1 Makum Pathar village of Margherita.
He passed away at the age of 82 due to age-related ailments. He breathed his last in the Assam Medical College of Dibrugarh. And his death caused a condition of sadness in the entire locality.
The Borgolai Unit of Sahitya Sabha, Margherita Journalists Union, Ledu Unit of Sahitya Saba, Tinsukia Sahitya Sabha and Margherita Sahitya Sabha offered their condolences on the passing of the noted writer.
Late Dharmeshwar Chetiya has left behind his wife, five daughters and one son.
