GUWAHATI: A youth from the Assam has developed a theft-proof electronic bicycle using modern sensors and advanced technologies.

This electronic bicycle is invented by Samrat Nath from Karimganj district of Assam, a student from Assam Rifles ITI Technology in Silchar. Samrat did his schooling at Ramkrishna Nagar Vidyapith.

Apart from using modern sensors in his bicycle to detect thieves, Samrat has also installed location monitoring technologies that can provide every detail about live locations.

According to the Assam Rifles ITI student, the smart e-bike created by him comes with numerous special security features and is powered by Lithium-ion batteries restored from old laptops.

He added that if someone attempts to steal the bicycle then immediately he will receive a message on his mobile phone and the theft alarm on the bicycle will also start to sound.

The boy further claimed that he can handle the bicycle from anywhere across the world by using the application on his Smartphone that is specially designed by him for the purpose.

In this electronic bicycle, another device has been installed that can be used in other electric bikes said Samrat. He also added that the smart bike is mainly designed to avoid robbery.

As stated by the bike inventor, it can be controlled and monitored from anywhere in the world and the live location can also be easily tracked. Samrat added it is completely safe and will not cause any harm.

In addition, Samrat has also shared that he has included a fingerprint feature in the bike for extra security so that it cannot be moved without his consent.

This modern technology bicycle made by Assam youth is likely to have a range of 60 km on a one-time charge and a high speed of 40 km each hour.

While speaking about his achievement, Samrat said that it took him 4 years to complete his childhood dream of inventing a bike of his own.
