Assam: YouTuber Mustafizur Rahman Detained For Using Minors In Videos

GUWAHATI: Mustafizur Rahman, an Assam YouTuber who is reputed to be the wealthiest YouTuber in the state, was detained by authorities on Tuesday.

The police apprehended Mustafizur, while he was filming a video at Satpara in Jogighopa. According to the complainant, Rahman engaged children in videos, which is against the law.

At the Jogighopa police station, the Bongaigaon district child protection officer has filed an FIR against the YouTuber. The incident is being investigated by Jogighopa police.

According to reports, Mustafizur Rahman has been making videos about children since a few days ago. This is against the law and could send a bad message to the community. Few of the films, as described, even show child abuse.

Recently, an Youtuber was found dead under strange circumstance. The girl was an active YouTuber, who was running her own channel with the name called Sanggi Vlogs. 

The deceased was usually seen uploading videos where she is riding motorbikes. As per the reports, the girl was found dead in her own home on 13th February, Monday. The incident took place in Guwahati’s Bamunimaidan area.

The episode took a suspicious turn when several bruises and injury marks were spotted in her body, however, her neck was tied with a rope.The deceased girl has been identified as Priyolina Nath.

According to a police official, Assam Police detained three former All Assam Students' Union (AASU) members early on February 28 in relation to a physical assault case in the Baksa district of the state.

Ankur Sharma, Bhavesh Sharma, and Hirakjyoti Sharma are the members that were apprehended by police on Tuesday.

According to the authorities, the group physically abused a teen at the AASU office in Goreswar's Naokata neighbourhood, forcing him or her to take drastic measures like committing suicide.
