Assamese professor of Bennet University Dr Pankaj Medhi dies of Corona infection

BARPETA: An Assamese professor of Bennet University, Greater Noida, Dr Pankaj Medhi died of COVID on Wednesday night. He was 47.

He was admitted at the Dr Chauhan Sanjivani Hospital, Greater Noida. His funeral was done following COVID protocol at the Greater Noida cremation ground. He leaves behind his wife and a son of 16 years. He had been living in Greater Noida since the last 12 years. The people of his birthplace at Bahari, Barpeta have mourned his demise.
