Assistant Enforcement Inspector of DTO, Barpeta suspended

DISPUR: Transport Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary has directed the Transport Department to suspend Swapan Das, Assistant Enforcement Inspector in the office of District Transport Officer, Barpeta.

Allegations were received regarding his involvement in illegal activities. A preliminary enquiry was conducted and he has been placed under suspension under Rule 6 (i) of Assam Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1964, stated a release.
