ATASU celebrated Me-Dam-Me-Phi in Demow Public Playground

DEMOW: Under the aegis of All Tai Ahom Students' Union (ATASU), Demow Regional Committee in association with Demow Ahom Society, Me-Dam-Me-Phi was celebrated in Demow Public Playground with a two-day-long programme. As per the schedule, the rituals of the festival began with the Phuralung Puja in Demow Public Playground on Saturday evening. On Sunday morning the maidam tarpan was offered. Drawing and essay competitions were organized on the day where the competitors took part. The Dam Phi Puja began with rituals and the winning competitors of the competitions were given prizes. The community feast was organized on Sunday.
