ATASU submits memorandum to DC for Pathetic condition of roads

DEMOW: The All Tai Ahom Students’ Union (ATASU), Nitaipukhuri Regional Committee had submitted a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar District through Demow Circle Officer on Thursday. In the memorandum they stated that the road from Nitaipukhuri to Rajabari connecting to Bhimbor Deori Road is in a pathetic condition from many years. The Nitai Barbarua Road is also in a poor condition. The above mentioned roads are the main area for transportation. Due to the poor condition of the road, the people facing are serious problems to travel to their educational institutions, offices. Students and patients are worst sufferers

In the memorandum, All Tai Ahom Students Union (ATASU), Nitaipukhuri Regional Committee members have urged the concerned department to repair the road within one month. A copy of the memorandum was also submitted to Chief Minister and Chief Engineer of PWD Department, Sivasagar district on Thursday.
