Award for veteran actor-director of Assamese mobile theatre industry, Bhabesh Baruah

NALBARI: Veteran actor and director of the Assamese mobile theatre industry, Bhabesh Baruah, has been selected for the prestigious Bhaben Baruah Award, 2023 by the Nalbari unit of Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP).

The district committee announced this on Wednesday. Noted actor Bhabesh Baruah has also acted in Assamese films. He has performed and directed in almost all the theatre groups of Assam. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 15,000, a bouquet of flowers, gamosa, a seleng sadar, a japi, a certificate and a memento.
