Award to be conferred on science writer Khiradhar Baruah for the year 2022

TEZPUR: Narendra Deva Shastri Memorial Award is given away every year for contributions towards literature, culture, journalism and education field by the Sonitpur Press Club. The award will be conferred on noted science writer, litterateur, educationist and retired professor, Khiradhar Baruah for the year 2022, in connection with the 94th birth anniversary of the noted Sanskrit scholar and veteran journalist, Narendra Deva Shastri. The Sonitpur Press Club, has also been organising oration and special award giving programmes on the birth anniversary day of the noted Sanskrit scholar late Narendra Deva Shastri since 2010. The Awards Ceremony will be held at Tezpur Xahitya Xabha Bhawan on December 11, said Subhash Chandra Biswas, President of Sonitpur press club.
