Awareness campaign on coronavirus held in Don Bosco College, Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: An awareness campaign on coronavirus and Covid-19 was held at Don Bosco College, Golaghat on Wednesday by Dr Dilip Rajbanshi, District Surveillance Officer and team.

Dr Saikia addressed the management, staff and students and presented detailed information on Coronavirus and Covid-19 and the precautions that should be taken by all. Dr. Robin Tamuli and Dr. Sunita Ekka gave practical information on how to prevent COVID-19 and Dr. Anil Kumar Das made students practice proper hand washing through a demonstration.

To mark the occasion, Dr. Dilip Rajbongshi released the magazine Fly Forward prepared by the Department of Education which also contained an article on coronavirus. The programme was organized in the office of the Joint Director of Health Services, Golaghat.

The Principal of the college thanked the resource persons for providing accurate information and techniques on how to face this situation.
