Awareness on cleanliness in Lahowal and Barbaruah areas of Dibrugarh

Dibrugarh: The cultural wing of Field Outreach Bureau, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Dibrugarh staged drama in various rural areas recently in order to sensitize the rural people about the significance of Swachhata (cleanliness) and its impact on the ecosystem.

The artistes of Borluit Creation of Milan Nagar performed skit and Bihu dance on the theme of cleanliness to create awareness among village people in areas under Lahowal and Barbaruah Development Block of the district. Field Publicity Officer of Dibrugarh, Pranab Kumar Nath in his address stressed the need of plantation and made students aware of the importance of keeping the school premises and household areas clean and hygienic and plastic-free.
