Axam Xahitya Xabha not only for literary persons but for all, says Kuladhar Saikia

MORIGAON: Axam Xahitya Xabha's president Kuladhar Saikia on Saturday attended the 12th general conference of the Tiwa Sahitya Sabha. The conference started on February 25 at Swahid Hemram Pator Khetra, Barapujia in Morigaon district. Inaugurating the seminar held on the eve of the 12th conference, the president of the Axam Xahitya Xabha Kuladhar Saikia said, "Axam Xahitya Xabha is not only for the literary persons but also for all the people who live in Assam. He further said, "For keeping a language in existence, people must learn to write or speak the language." The seminar was held on the topic 'Progress of the Tiwa and Other Tribes languages and the New Education Policy-2022.' The meeting was also attended by the State Education Minister Dr Ranuj Pegu. A huge cultural rally was taken out across Barapujia on Saturday. The meeting started with the hoisting of the 12 flags by the president of the Tiwa Sahitya Sabha Lal Singh Madar.
